Ron Mueck exhibit

Lucky me, so far so good - landed a new job here in Edinburgh in the wonderful world of advertising and ended up with a ticket to see the Ron Mueck exhibit which was on at the National Gallery in Edinburgh.

I have always seen pictures of this guys work, which has impressed me but to actually be able to see it live and in person has such a bigger impact on you. His work is so life-like and moving, if you haven't seen it I would highly recommend taking the chance to visit the gallery to see some of his pieces. The admission into the exhibit is £6 - which isn't too bad. The onlydisappointmentt I think was that I was left hoping for and wanting more!

Okay. I must confess but I think this age of my life by far has been the most challenging. Maybe I am spoiled with choices and opporunities that my parents never had to face. Blessed with an international degree, outlook on life and dual citizenship in Europe and Canada the world is really my oyster at the moment.

Less than a month ago I was settled on moving from the UK and back to Canadian soil...And now....I've gone into reverse. How often are you so fortunate enough to do the things I've done, to see the things I've seen, to experience the life I've lead - and if you know me that's quiet abit! So I have changed my mind once again and have decided to stay put for another year to see what the UK can hold. Job prospects have been going well and I find myself debating over London or Edinburgh in a way you could say the big city versus the green city and knowing my lifestyle I think the green city will always win hands down.

So that is that my bags are not packed for Canada, they are now packed for Edinburgh.
